Roger Simmons is the Orlando Sentinel's Managing Editor. He's been reporting or editing Florida news for more than 35 years, with a personal emphasis on news, sports, space, Walt Disney World, hurricanes and weather. One of the Orlando Sentinel's first digital leaders, he helped journalists embrace a digital-first mentality. He's a Florida native and a University of Central Florida grad.
